Social media/ Digital media has a strong presence in my day. I use it professionally and personally as a parent. The sites I visit and use most in my daily life are Instagram , find me gluten free, facebook, Canva and google. Instagram is for social media marketing and to display my brand to the world professionally. Facebook personally for networking with other parents and my towns social media page for events and other things. As well as google for research for daily life and personal use. Canva I use for my professional and personal life. Such as instagram posts and invitations , or flyers. When I was teaching Canva I used multiple        times a day! Awards, worksheets, syllabuses , weekly send homes etc. As a mom, it comes in great for hockey team needs too.

Instagram, is used for social media marketing for my brand. I run reels, stories, posts etc. I display my brand through instagram in my reels, posts, stories , etc. I don’t love doing it. I would say I have a mixed reaction to it. I do it, to support the community I have lived inside for over twenty five years. I am a private person, I have children and I want to protect our personal and private life. I have very clear and thick boundary lines I place on my use and information I use on there. I love to make an impact and a difference. I love to know I have helped celiacs in my community be able to travel and eat freely. That part makes me feel so good. The rest makes me feel gross and overwhelmed.

What I notice about the use of digital media in marketing today and are the different varieties used. The “trend” is always changing. You have to be current on the trends and constantly be watching and learning. It takes a lot of time. I have tried AI apps to build my content , however it never comes out the way I like. I am going to continue to grow and build my brand. Continuing to supporting the community is extremely important to me. There is this one influencer I follow has over a million followers and her style is just daily life. She posts non stop and it very disorganized and crazy content. She is very entertaining. But her kids lives have been blasted all over the world and I feel badly for their loss of privacy for them.
